CALL FOR PROPOSALS
LASCIC, Latin American Studies & Chicano-Iberian Culture Network in coordination with El Colegio de Jalisco, and the University of Guadalajara (CULagos & CUTonalá), calls to submit paper proposals for the Seminar, which is proposed as a space for the analysis of problems such as economic, educational, and health inequalities, among others; conflicts of power management and public policies; cultural, ethnic, religious, identity and gender diversity; mobility, migration and human rights processes; Chicano and Latinx cultures. This, through both conjunctural and historical approaches in geopolitical fields, integration trends with a south-globalist vision, underpinned by reflexivity, thereby implying that society structures and explains itself, in an effort so that knowledge and research findings serve to promote a fairer region.
